The YF-H1003VG-YF-H5003VG series precision balances provide 1 mg readability with four weighing capacities from 100 g to 500 g. Their compact design is suitable for routine weighing on laboratory benches where space is limited.
A resistance strain gauge sensor measures sample mass, while the LCD displays weighing results clearly. The detachable draft shield helps reduce the influence of air movement around the stainless steel weighing pan and provides access for cleaning.
The balance combines an aluminum base with an ABS housing. A level indicator and adjustable feet help users position the instrument on a level surface. Tare allows the weight of a container to be deducted before weighing its contents. Piece counting supports counting items of similar individual weight, and unit conversion allows users to select the appropriate weighing unit. Overload and error indications assist routine operation.
External calibration is performed using a suitable calibration weight. An optional RS232 interface supports connection to a compatible PC or printer for transferring weighing results.
The manufacturer specifies a stabilization time of ≤5 seconds and a linearity error of ±0.003 g. Allow a 15-minute warm-up period and operate within the specified temperature range of 5-40°C. For consistent results, use a stable, level surface away from drafts and vibration. Readability describes the smallest displayed increment and does not represent measurement accuracy.
