Product Description
The D1524R is a high-speed refrigerated microcentrifuge designed for temperature-sensitive biological samples. It provides a maximum speed of 15,000 rpm, a maximum RCF of 21,380 × g and a temperature range of −20°C to 40°C. Five optional rotors support microtubes, 5 mL tubes and PCR 8-tube strips.
The D1524R High-Speed Refrigerated Microcentrifuge is suitable for molecular biology, clinical, biochemical and pharmaceutical laboratories. Refrigerated operation helps protect temperature-sensitive samples during high-speed separation.
The centrifuge operates from 200 to 15,000 rpm and reaches a maximum RCF of 21,380 × g. Its temperature can be set between −20°C and 40°C. According to the product brochure, the chamber can cool from room temperature to 4°C in approximately seven minutes.
Five interchangeable rotors accommodate 0.2, 0.5, 1.5, 2 and 5 mL tubes, as well as PCR 8-tube strips. Rotor capacity and maximum RCF depend on the selected rotor. High-strength aluminum rotors feature a sealed design and can be autoclaved at 121°C.
Users can save up to nine operating programs and select from nine acceleration and deceleration levels. The LCD screen provides clear parameter monitoring, while RPM and RCF display switching supports different laboratory protocols.
The brushless DC motor supports stable operation. Safety features include a dual door lock, overspeed detection, overtemperature detection, imbalance monitoring and automatic internal diagnostics.
