The D-160 is a compact handheld laboratory homogenizer designed for rapid homogenization, emulsification, suspension, and biological sample disruption. It offers 10 adjustable speed levels from 8,000 to 32,000 rpm and supports processing volumes from 0.1 mL to 250 mL with interchangeable dispersing shafts.

The D-160 Handheld Laboratory Homogenizer is designed for small-volume sample preparation in biological, pharmaceutical, chemical, food, and research laboratories. Its lightweight and ergonomic motor unit can be operated by hand or mounted on the supplied stand for more stable processing.
The homogenizer provides a variable speed range of 8,000 to 32,000 rpm with 10 selectable speed levels. Different interchangeable dispersing shafts allow it to process samples from 0.1 mL to 250 mL:
- DS-160/5: 0.1-50 mL
- DS-160/7: 1-150 mL
- DS-160/10: 1-250 mL
The dispersing shafts are made from 316L stainless steel with PTFE components for excellent chemical resistance. They can be removed for cleaning and are fully autoclavable. The appropriate shaft should be selected according to sample volume, viscosity, and processing purpose.
