Product Description
The Nano-400A is a compact microvolume analyzer designed for rapid measurement of DNA and RNA concentration and purity. It uses fixed wavelengths of 260 and 280 nm and requires only 1.0-2.0 μL of sample.
The instrument calculates nucleic acid concentration from absorbance at 260 nm and evaluates sample purity using the A260/A280 ratio. Samples are applied directly to the measurement pedestal without disposable cuvettes or capillaries.
An independent OD600 cuvette mode is provided for bacterial and microbial culture measurements. The 7-inch touchscreen and Android system allow the analyzer to operate without a computer.

The Nano-400A Microvolume DNA and RNA Analyzer is developed for laboratories that require simple and rapid nucleic acid quantification without full-spectrum scanning.
The UV LED light source and UV silicon photodetector measure absorbance at 260 and 280 nm. Absorbance at 260 nm is used to calculate nucleic acid concentration, while the A260/A280 ratio helps evaluate contamination by proteins or other sample components.
Only 1.0-2.0 μL of sample is needed. The sample is placed directly on the pedestal, eliminating the need for capillaries or disposable cuvettes during microvolume measurements. After testing, the pedestal can be wiped clean for the next sample.
The Nano-400A measures dsDNA concentrations from 10 to 2500 ng/μL and BSA protein concentrations from 0.5 to 75 mg/mL. Results are displayed in less than 6 seconds.
The integrated OD600 cuvette mode uses a 600 ±8 nm LED optical system with an absorbance range of 0-4 A. It can be used to monitor bacterial, microbial and other culture solutions.
A 7-inch capacitive touchscreen and built-in Android software support independent operation. Measurement results can be transferred through USB, while the built-in printer enables direct report printing.
