Product Description
The TC1000-S+ is a 96-well standard PCR thermal cycler designed for routine DNA amplification. It supports 0.2 mL PCR tubes, 8-tube strips and 96-well PCR plates. The system features a 7-inch color touchscreen, 0-105°C block temperature range, up to 5°C/s temperature change rate, adjustable hot lid and automatic power-failure recovery.
The TC1000-S+ Standard PCR Thermal Cycler provides a practical solution for routine PCR amplification in molecular biology laboratories.
Its 96-well aluminum block is compatible with 96 × 0.2 mL PCR tubes, twelve 0.2 mL 8-tube strips or one 0.2 mL 96-well PCR plate. The sample block temperature range is 0-105°C, while the hot lid can be adjusted from 30 to 115°C.
Temperature control accuracy is ±0.1°C, with uniformity of ±0.2°C at 55°C. The maximum temperature change rate is 5°C per second. Block and tube temperature control modes are available for different PCR workflows.
A 7-inch LCD touchscreen with 1024 × 600 resolution provides a clear interface for creating and editing programs. A single program can contain up to 30 steps and 99 cycles. More than 20,000 programs can be stored using a USB flash drive.
The instrument supports standard PCR, Touchdown PCR and Long PCR programs. Automatic power-failure protection resumes unfinished cycles after power is restored. The adjustable hot lid and one-touch incubation function provide additional flexibility for laboratory workflows.
The TC1000-S+ is a standard, non-gradient thermal cycler. It does not provide real-time fluorescence detection and should not be classified as a qPCR system.
