Product Description
This laboratory magnetic rack series is designed for fast magnetic bead separation in molecular biology, cell biology, and protein purification workflows. Available configurations support 0.2 mL PCR tubes, 8-tube strips, 1.5/2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes, 5/15 mL tubes, and 96-well plates. Models with 1, 4, 8, 16, 24, 32, or 96 magnetic positions are available for different sample volumes and throughput requirements.
The Magnetic Bead Separation Rack Series provides a simple and efficient solution for separating magnetic beads from liquid samples. Strong magnetic arrays concentrate beads near the wall or bottom of compatible tubes and plates, allowing the supernatant to be removed with a pipette.
Different models are available for low-, medium-, and high-throughput workflows:
- 0.2 mL PCR tubes and 8-tube strips
- 1.5 mL and 2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes
- 5 mL reagent or blood collection tubes
- 15 mL centrifuge tubes
- 32-position PCR tube processing
- 96-well PCR, shallow-well, and deep-well plates
- Working volumes from approximately 100 μL to 15 mL, depending on the model
Available capacities include single-position, 4-hole, 8-hole, 16-hole, 24-hole, 32-hole, and 96-hole racks. Selected models provide magnetic field strengths of more than 4200, 4400, 5300, or 5500 gauss.
The racks are easy to operate and require no complicated setup. Place the compatible tubes or plate into the rack, allow the magnetic beads to collect, and remove the liquid according to the selected laboratory protocol.
Tube size, plate type, sample capacity, working volume, and magnetic field strength vary by model. Users should select a rack that matches their consumables, magnetic beads, and sample-processing protocol.
