Product Description
The TU200P is a portable turbidity meter for measuring water samples from 0 to 200 NTU. It uses an 850 nm LED light source and 90° nephelometric detection in accordance with ISO 7027. The meter features automatic range selection, one- to four-point calibration, selectable NTU, FNU and EBC units, battery operation and an IP65-rated enclosure for laboratory and field testing.
The TU200P Portable Turbidity Meter is designed for routine turbidity measurement in laboratories and at field sampling locations.
Its measuring range is divided automatically between 0 to 20.00 NTU and 20.0 to 200.0 NTU. Available resolutions are 0.01, 0.1 and 1 NTU, depending on the selected range. Measurement accuracy is ±2% of the reading plus 0.02 NTU, with repeatability of ≤1.0%.
The instrument uses an 850 nm LED light source and the nephelometric principle with 90° detection. This measurement method follows ISO 7027 requirements and helps reduce interference from sample color.
Users can perform one- to four-point calibration using Formazin standards or zero water. Measurement results can be displayed in NTU, FNU or EBC. User ID, calibration points, date and time can also be configured.
The TU200P can be powered by AA batteries or an AC adapter. Its automatic power-off function helps extend battery operating time. The IP65-rated enclosure provides protection against dust and water jets, but the meter should not be submerged.
The package includes five turbidity sample bottles. Clean, scratch-free bottles and regular calibration are recommended for reliable results.
