Product Description
The Class II B2 Biological Safety Cabinet is a 100% exhaust system designed to protect personnel, samples and the laboratory environment. It features dual ULPA filters, automatic airflow control, real-time airflow monitoring and a 7-inch LCD touch screen. Four external widths from 1050 to 1800 mm are available for different laboratory workloads.
This Class II Type B2 biological safety cabinet uses a total-exhaust airflow system with no recirculation inside the cabinet. Room air enters through the front opening to help protect the operator, while ULPA-filtered vertical downflow helps protect samples. All air from the work zone is filtered and discharged through a dedicated external exhaust system.
Two ULPA filters provide at least 99.9995% efficiency at 0.1-0.3 μm. An airflow sensor continuously monitors air velocity, and the automatic control system helps maintain stable airflow. Audible and visual alarms warn users of abnormal airflow, filter failure, UV-lamp failure or an unsafe front-window position.
The 7-inch LCD touch screen displays airflow velocity, front-window status, temperature, filter life, UV-lamp life and system operating information. The cabinet also includes a motorized front window, foot-switch control, electric air-valve control, RS485 interface, UV sterilization timer, safety interlocks and power-failure memory.
The removable 304 stainless-steel work surface and liquid-collection tray facilitate cleaning and disinfection. Available external widths are 1050, 1400, 1500 and 1800 mm. An exhaust blower and 9 m exhaust duct are supplied as standard. The series is CE certified.
