Product Description
The Convertible Ducted and Ductless Fume Hood supports both external exhaust and filtered recirculating operation. It is supplied with an open base stand and one activated carbon filter. The cabinet features adjustable airflow, LCD microprocessor control, a chemical-resistant work surface, a sink and laboratory service taps.
The Convertible Ducted and Ductless Fume Hood is a negative-pressure containment system designed to help reduce operator exposure to chemical fumes, odors and vapors during laboratory procedures.
In ducted mode, contaminated air is discharged through an exhaust duct to the outside or a laboratory exhaust system. In ductless mode, the air passes through the activated carbon filter before being returned to the laboratory. The appropriate operating mode must be selected according to the chemicals and concentrations used.
The microprocessor controller with LCD display shows the operating status, temperature, filter life and UV lamp life. Airflow velocity is adjustable from 0.3 to 0.8 m/s. Safety and convenience features include a manual tempered-glass sash, sash interlocks, power-failure memory, UV sterilization with a timing function, waterproof sockets, a water sink, water tap and gas tap.
The solid physicochemical board work surface offers resistance to routine acid and alkali exposure. Available models include FMH-YF1000D, FMH-YF1200D, FMH-YF1500D and FMH-YF1800D.
