Product Description
The Ducted Laboratory Fume Hood is a negative-pressure ventilation system designed to capture chemical fumes, vapors, aerosols and odors and discharge them through an external exhaust duct. It features adjustable airflow, a built-in centrifugal blower, LCD microprocessor control and a chemical-resistant work surface. Manual and motorized sash options are available.
The Ducted Laboratory Fume Hood draws room air through the front opening and continuously exhausts contaminated air through a connected duct, helping reduce operator and laboratory exposure to airborne chemical contaminants.
Airflow velocity is adjustable from 0.3 to 0.8 m/s. The built-in centrifugal blower provides adjustable-speed extraction, while the bypass grille and sash airfoil help maintain stable airflow as the sash position changes.
The cabinet features an electro-galvanized steel exterior, a compact laminate interior with resistance to weak acids and alkalis, and a chemical-resistant phenolic resin work surface. A liquid collection tank behind the back panel helps collect accidental waste liquid generated during experiments.
The microprocessor controller with LCD display shows the operating status of each function. Additional features include power-failure memory, a UV lamp with timing function, waterproof sockets, a sink, water tap and gas tap.
The FMH-DA series is equipped with a manual sash, while the FMH-DA(II) series has a motorized sash. Available external widths are 1040, 1240, 1540 and 1840 mm.
The fume hood must be connected to a properly designed external exhaust system. The required airflow and exhaust treatment should be determined according to the chemicals used and local laboratory safety requirements.
