Product Description
The LSC2100 is a compact microplate centrifuge designed for rapid spin-down of droplets in 96-well PCR plates. It provides a maximum speed of 2500 rpm, a maximum RCF of 500 × g and a capacity of two 96-well plates. Its small footprint makes it suitable for PCR and qPCR laboratories with limited bench space.
The LSC2100 Microplate Centrifuge is specially designed to collect liquid droplets from the walls of PCR wells at the bottom of the microplate. Quick centrifugation before PCR or qPCR experiments helps improve sample consistency and supports more stable test results.
Two 96-well PCR plates can be processed simultaneously. The plates are inserted vertically into the rotor through the top slots. During centrifugation, surface tension helps keep the liquid at the bottom of each well and reduces the risk of leakage.
The LSC2100 is compatible with full-skirted, half-skirted and non-skirted PCR plates. Its compact 190 × 220 mm footprint saves valuable laboratory bench space and allows convenient routine use.
