Product Description
The D2012S is a compact high-speed microcentrifuge designed for routine microtube and PCR sample processing. It provides a maximum speed of 15,000 rpm and a maximum RCF of up to 16,750 × g, depending on the selected rotor. Multiple interchangeable rotors support microtubes, 5 mL tubes and PCR tube strips.
The D2012S High-Speed Microcentrifuge is suitable for molecular biology, clinical, biochemical and research laboratories. Its compact benchtop design helps laboratories perform fast separation while saving workspace.
The standard rotor accommodates 12 × 0.2/0.5/1.5/2 mL tubes and reaches a maximum RCF of 15,100 × g. Optional rotors expand the capacity to 18 × 2 mL tubes, 6 × 5 mL plus 6 × 0.5 mL tubes, or four PCR 8-tube strips. The maximum RCF of 16,750 × g is available with the applicable optional rotor.
The LCD screen displays operating parameters clearly. Speed can be set from 300 to 15,000 rpm in 100 rpm increments, with an accuracy of ±20 rpm. RPM and RCF values can be switched according to the laboratory protocol.
A maintenance-free brushless DC motor supports stable operation. Safety functions include a door interlock, overspeed detection, overtemperature detection and automatic internal diagnostics.
