Product Description
The D1524 is a non-refrigerated high-speed microcentrifuge designed for routine microtube and PCR sample processing. It provides a speed range of 200-15,000 rpm and a maximum RCF of 21,380 × g. Five interchangeable rotors support microtubes, 5 mL tubes and PCR 8-tube strips.
The D1524 High-Speed Microcentrifuge is suitable for molecular biology, biochemical, clinical and research laboratories. It is the non-refrigerated version of the D1524R and is intended for samples that do not require active temperature control during centrifugation.
The centrifuge operates from 200 to 15,000 rpm and reaches a maximum RCF of 21,380 × g. Five rotor options accommodate 0.2, 0.5, 1.5, 2 and 5 mL tubes, as well as PCR 8-tube strips. Maximum capacity and RCF depend on the selected rotor.
High-strength aluminum rotors feature a sealed design and can be autoclaved at 121°C. The system supports up to nine stored programs and offers nine acceleration and deceleration levels for different separation requirements.
Users can switch between RPM and RCF values. Pulse operation, a running-process indicator and an audible completion alert support convenient daily use.
The brushless DC motor provides stable operation. Safety features include a dual door lock, overspeed detection, overtemperature detection and automatic internal diagnostics.
