The D1008 is a CE-certified palm microcentrifuge designed for quick spins and routine micro-volume sample processing. It provides a maximum speed of 7,000 rpm, a maximum RCF of 2,680 × g and compatibility with microtubes, individual PCR tubes and PCR 8-tube strips. Its lightweight 0.5 kg design and noise level of ≤45 dB support convenient benchtop use.
The D1008 Palm Microcentrifuge is suitable for molecular biology, clinical, biochemical and research laboratories. It is designed for quick sample spin-down, microfiltration and routine cell separation.
The centrifuge reaches a fixed maximum speed of 7,000 rpm and a maximum RCF of 2,680 × g. Interchangeable rotors support:
- 8 × 0.2/0.5/1.5/2 mL microtubes
- 32 × 0.2 mL individual PCR tubes
- 4 × PCR 8-tube strips
Optional adapters are available for 0.2 mL and 0.5 mL tubes. The quick-change rotor can be removed without tools, while the clamp-locking design helps keep the rotor securely installed.
Operation is simple: closing the lid starts centrifugation, while opening the lid stops it. The DC motor supports continuous operation and provides smooth, low-vibration performance. With a noise level of ≤45 dB, the D1008 is suitable for laboratories requiring quieter operation.
